Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Aqeel, trading as Tengesa POS ("we", "us"). They cover the Tengesa POS app, this website and the online service that stores your shop's data (together, "Tengesa"). By creating an account, downloading the app or paying for a plan, you agree to them. If you're using Tengesa for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for that business.
What you get
A subscription lets one shop use Tengesa POS on as many computers and with as many staff as it needs, plus updates and help by email while the subscription is active.
Free trial
New shops get a 14-day free trial with every feature. We don't ask for card details to start a trial. When it ends, the till stops taking new sales until you choose a plan. Your products, sales and settings are kept, so you carry on where you left off once you activate.
Plans and payment
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the price shown on our website when you buy.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If you pay another way, your access runs until the date shown in the app.
- Prices don't include any taxes your country may add, unless we say they do.
- If we change our prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change affects your next renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing us or through the link in your Stripe receipt. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then won't renew. Refunds are covered in our refund policy.
Your data
Your products, sales, customers and other shop records belong to you. We store them so the app can sync between your tills and keep a backup, and we don't use them for anything else. You can export your reports at any time, and ask us to delete your data. Our privacy policy explains this in full.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your sign-in details and staff PINs private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
- Check that prices, tax rates and receipts are set up correctly for your country. Tengesa is a tool to record sales; you remain responsible for your tax returns and for meeting any rules that apply to your business.
- Keep your own copies of records you're legally required to keep, for example by exporting reports regularly.
- Don't use Tengesa for anything illegal, try to get into other shops' data, copy or resell the app, or interfere with the service.
The service
We work hard to keep Tengesa running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. The till keeps working offline and uploads when the connection returns. We may update or change features over time; we won't remove anything that's core to running a till without giving notice.
Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, Tengesa is provided as it is, and we're not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost sales or business interruption. If we are responsible for a loss, the most we'll pay is what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law. If a law gives you a guarantee or remedy, these terms don't limit it.
Suspending or ending accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and export your data.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account owners at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If there's a disagreement, please email us first; most problems are solved quickly that way.
